Beskrivelse
ADR Basic Training for office and warehouse staff in accordance with ADR Sections 1.3 and 1.10. No special prior knowledge is required to attend the course.

Target group:
The course is aimed at all employees who are involved in the shipment of dangerous goods, including disposal, shipment settlement, customer contact, contact to the haulier, assistants and drivers in accordance with ADR Section 8.2.3 (using the ADR 1.1.3.6 provisions), warehouse staff, etc.

The law requires:
Everyone who participates in the handling of dangerous goods must be trained in accordance with the transport regulations that apply to the shipment(s) in question in accordance with Section 1.3 of the ADR Agreement, and Section 1.10.2.

This includes personnel in the company involved in the shipment of dangerous goods, including disposition, shipment settlement, customer contact, contact to haulier, assistants and driver in accordance with ADR Section 8.2.3 (under the small load exemption), warehouse staff that packages, marks, loads or unloads dangerous goods and those who fills in documentation.

The course focuses on conventional cargo and only deals to a limited extent with the transport of waste.

Contents:
The content of the course is carefully coordinated in accordance with current legislation, and includes i.a. the following topics:

- What is covered by the dangerous goods legislation?
- Responsibility
- Identification of dangerous goods
- Exceptions and small loads
- Transport documentation, as well as other required documentation
- Packaging
- Marking and labels
- Unloading and loading, handling, stowage and separation, etc.
- Precautions in case of accidents and incidents
- Securing dangerous goods

Duration:
The course has an estimated duration of 3-4 hours. Course certificates are issued immediately after the test has been completed.

Special circumstances:
The course does not qualify as training for drivers who intend to transport dangerous goods in quantities that exceed the values in ADR 1.1.3.6.

A comprehensive course material in pdf format can be used as a reference work in connection with the course and which can of course be downloaded for subsequent use.
